2018 Vignoble Dragon "La Belle Helene" Côtes de Provence Rosé

SKU #1413949 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2018 Cotes de Provence Rose La Belle Helene contains a bit of Rolle, which perhaps accounts for its aromas of grapefruit and white currants. It's light to medium-bodied on the palate, loaded with tart, citrusy flavors that extend through the finish. (JC) (4/2019)

Pale shimmering orange. Lively, mineral-tinged red berries and pink grapefruit on the nose and in the mouth. Taut and nicely focused, showing good energy and a deeper suggestion of nectarine on the clinging finish. Drink through 2022. (JR) (8/2019)

Wine Enthusiast

This soft, rounded wine is warm with ripe red-berry fruits and a lightly peppery character. It is full bodied, balanced with strawberry fruitiness at the end. (RV) (6/2019)

Wine Spectator

A floral note marks the creamy white raspberry, cherry pit and melon flavors of this flattering rosé. Spice, apricot and licorice details sail through on the mineral-tinged finish. Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino. (GS, Web-2019)

The 2018 is a blend of 40% Syrah, 40% Grenache, 10% Vermentino and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a perennial value and a staff pick for over three months. This is a rose for all seasons!
Drink from 2019 to 2021
